THE ACTOR | SHORT FILM

A film I directed about my father, Christopher Ellison whose acting career was ended by a stroke leaving him without the ability to speak. I initially set out to make a film about his acting career and his approach to acting but soon after recording his initial interview he suffered a major stroke. I sat on the interview for some time before deciding to continue on with the project but instead gave it a more reflective feel with an ending that reveals and raises awareness for his cognitive condition, Aphasia.
